Key highlights
- New spy shots reveal the Scorpio N pick-up with a much larger touchscreen.

- The pick-up is expected to launch in India after its global debut, likely with diesel and 4×4 options.
Mahindra’s upcoming Scorpio N pick-up is back in the spotlight. Fresh spy shots show the model testing with a noticeably larger touchscreen, and the cabin looks far closer to a lifestyle truck than a bare-bones utility vehicle. This version seems to borrow the Scorpio N’s basic layout but packs a feature upgrade that could help it stand out in the fast-growing lifestyle pick-up space.
Large touchscreen
The touchscreen immediately catches the eye. It looks wider and sharper than the unit in the Scorpio N SUV. Mahindra is clearly preparing this truck for a more premium audience, not just commercial buyers. The brand has been positioning its Global Pik Up concept as a do-it-all adventure machine, and this interior feels consistent with that pitch.
Premium interior?
The test mule also reveals a flatter dashboard, redesigned AC vents and a center console that feels more upmarket than expected. The steering wheel and buttons look familiar, but the overall cabin gives off a tougher, more functional vibe. Mahindra wants the Scorpio N pick-up to feel rugged without slipping into old-school, cut-cost territory and this setup looks like a step in the right direction.
External design
On the outside, the truck continues to wear heavy camouflage, but the proportions match the earlier prototypes. Expect a long wheelbase, a strong shoulder line and a well-sized cargo bed. The production model should stay close to the Global Pik Up concept shown earlier, with LED signatures, chunky bumpers and a wide stance. If Mahindra keeps the design clean and muscular, it could turn quite a few heads.
Powertrain
Under the hood, the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine is the safest bet. Mahindra could offer both 2WD and 4X4 options along with manual and automatic transmissions. Given the segment’s growing interest in lifestyle off-roading, a strong 4X4 variant will be crucial.
The bigger picture is simple. Mahindra wants to expand its footprint beyond SUVs and step into a category that’s heating up fast. With the Hilux and the upcoming Isuzu updates, the timing is perfect. If the company can price the pick-up smartly and offer enough real-world usability, the Scorpio N pick-up could carve out a healthy niche.
