Hyundai i20 Era variant complete details

Over the years, the sales of the i20 hatchback have reduced. Call it the decreasing popularity of the premium hatchbacks or call it the increasing popularity of the compact SUVs, i20 has been suffering the fate of the changing market trend. However, Hyundai is not giving up on it as of now, as the Korean carmaker has launched a new base variant of it, called the Era.

The new i20 Era variant has been priced at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom), which will translate into minimal on-road cost due to the lower road tax on cars below Rs 6 lakh. Meanwhile, the Era variant is equipped with the necessary features like body coloured ORVMs and door handles, all four power windows, rear AC vents, and six airbags, a digital instrument console, USB-C charging ports, a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, and front and rear skid plates.

Additionally, Hyundai has slashed the prices of the Magna MT and Magna Executive MT variants by Rs 13,000. Moreover, Hyundai is now offering a 10.1-inch factory-fitted optional infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This system has been priced at Rs 15,000, and comes with a standard 3-year warranty for all variants.
