Triumph India to launch 350cc bikes soon as sales incline
The latest achievement of Triumph in terms of sales comes after the brand tied up with Bajaj Auto Ltd nearly 2.5 years ago. Ever since the introduction of its affordable and premium 400cc models, Triumph has been registering positive growth.
The manufacturing and sales of Triumph motorcycles are handled by Bajaj. Hence, the British brand has expanded significantly since the partnership. Currently, it is present in 200 cities across India, and has 230 dealerships with sales, service, and spare parts support.
Not just the domestic, but the international sales have also witnessed a boost post the Bajaj partnership. In fact, Triumph sells its 400cc range in 18 countries, including critical markets like Japan.
The next chapter for the brand is the 350cc range of motorcycles, which will be detuned 400cc models tailored as per the GST 2.0 taxation slabs. The 350cc models will significantly drop the prices, and the brand is hopeful to fetch more sales. However, the 400cc bikes will also remain on sale once the 350cc models are launched next month.
