Audi car prices to go up 2% effective April 01, 2026

Key highlights

  • Audi India will increase vehicle prices by up to 2 percent starting April 1, 2026
  • The revision will apply across the entire Audi lineup sold in India
  • Rising input costs and operational expenses cited as the main reason for the increase

Audi India has announced that it will increase prices across its model range by up to 2 percent, effective April 1, 2026. The revision will apply to all vehicles sold by the brand in India and will vary depending on the model and variant.

The company says the adjustment comes in response to rising input costs and higher operational expenses. Luxury car manufacturers typically absorb such pressures for as long as possible, but eventually the numbers start demanding attention. When that happens, price corrections follow.

For buyers who have been considering an Audi, the next few weeks might be the right time to make a decision.

Entire Audi lineup to see the revision

Models such as the Audi A6, the flagship Audi Q7 and performance-oriented offerings like the Audi RS5 will all see a slight bump in pricing. Audi’s electric range, including the Audi Q8 e-tron, will also be part of the revision.

The increase may not look dramatic on paper, but in the luxury segment even a small percentage change can translate into several lakhs depending on the model.

Cost pressures continue across the industry

Audi is not alone in making such moves. Over the past few years, many car manufacturers have had to deal with rising raw material prices, logistics costs and currency fluctuations.

Luxury brands face an additional challenge because many components and vehicles are imported. Exchange rate variations can quickly influence pricing structures.

As a result, periodic price corrections have become a common occurrence in the premium car segment. Companies try to balance two priorities. They want to remain competitive while also protecting margins.
