Ferrari 849 Testarossa: Everything to know
The new 849 Testarossa sports car is now available in India at all Ferrari dealerships at a price tag of Rs 10.37 crore (ex-showroom). It is the latest flagship Ferrari car, which replaces the SF90 Stradale.
Speaking of the details, the 849 Testarossa takes inspiration from the iconic Testarossa model. It features a low-slung design with a wide fascia that gets vertical LED lights connected via a black panel and an aerodynamic front bumper with an active splitter.
The rear design incorporates the split-type integrated spoiler with active aerodynamics and the quad-LED lights connected with a radical-looking black highlight. The rear profile also features the titanium dual exhaust pipes, which can be upgraded with the optional full system performance exhaust.
On the inside, the 849 Testarossa features an F1-styled cabin with driver centric design. The three-spoke steering wheel gets the physical buttons for driving, suspension, and power modes. Meanwhile, the halo-like centre console splitter has a floating gear selector panel, which accentuates the overall interior design.
On the power front, it gets a 4.0L V8 twin-turbo engine, which standalone makes 819 bhp, while the hybrid battery and dual electric motors add more power, thus taking the total output to 1,050 bhp. It is the most powerful Ferrari ever produced, and it can sprint 0-100 km/h in 2.3 seconds, while its top speed has been limited to 330 km/h.
Ferrari is also offering an Active Aerodynamic Package and a high-performance braking package, which adds to the performance and control of the latest flagship Ferrari sports car. The deliveries of the 849 Testarossa are scheduled to start in the later half of this year.
