The new Pulsar 180 is essentially the same motorcycle as the one that got discontinued in 2022. However, giving it a new flair of design is the new LED headlight, a new cowl, and the updated graphics.

Available at Rs 1.22 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Pulsar 180 is offered in five colour options: Black-Gold, Black-Blue, Black-Red, Black-Grey, and White. Apart from the new headlight, it also features a new LCD console similar to the one seen on the new Pulsar 150.

The chassis and the mechanical setup of the new Pulsar 180 are similar to those of the previous model. It rides on the 17-inch alloy wheels, while the chassis is suspended on the telescopic front forks and dual shock absorbers at the rear.

Powering the Pulsar 180 is the tried and tested 178.6cc single-cylinder air-cooled unit that makes 17 PS and 15 Nm. It is paired with a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. The braking duties are covered by a 280 mm front disc brake and a 230 mm rear disc brake, which also feature a dual-channel ABS.

In terms of features, it comes equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, SMS/call alerts, LED lighting, and more. The Pulsar 180 is cheaper by Rs 4,000 than the TVS Apache RTR 180, which is also its main competitor.
