BMW has taken the cover off its latest 7 Series iteration in NYC. The new facelifted model features an updated exterior and interior, taking inspiration from the Neue Klasse philosophy. Read the details of the changes on the new 7 Series below.

Exterior updates
The exterior design of the new 7 Series retains its original identity, but the new changes give it a refreshing outlook. The front fascia now gets the new sleek LED headlights, which draw their inspiration from the Neue Klasse design l
anguage.
The signature illuminated kidney grille now features horizontal slats, while the bumper is all-new. There are new exterior paint shade options as well, while the customers can choose from various wheel sizes ranging up to 22 inches, first for the 7 Series.
The side profile features the brushed aluminium highlights around the greenhouse with the new alloy wheels. The rear profile features the redesigned, sleeker LED taillights, a redesigned bumper, and a blacked-out lower section with a sporty outlook.
Interior updates
The cabin has also undergone a big update on the new 7 Series. To begin with, it now features a new dashboard design with the new rhomboidal 17.9-inch infotainment screen, and a full-width Panoramic iDrive display placed towards the upper side of the dashboard.
The new vertical twin-spoke steering wheel features physical control buttons, while the optional 14.6-inch passenger screen offers a wide range of entertainment options. Both of the infotainment screens offer the latest BMW Operating System X with OTA updates and AI-assisted voice commands.
BMW is also offering an Executive Lounge package with the new 7 Series that includes tab-operated rear seat comfort and convenience controls, electric sunblinds, a champagne glass holder, rear seat massage/ventilation/heating, and more features.
The standard model comes with multifunction rear seats, a 31.3-inch rear infotainment screen mounted in the roof, gaming support, an optional Bowers & Wilkins 3D sound system with Dolby Atmos, new ambient lighting, wireless charging, and a four-zone climate control system.
Engine specifications
The new 7 Series continues to be offered in petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrid, and electric avatars.

When will it launch in India?
The new BMW 7 Series facelift will enter production by mid-2026. It will be available in the US and other international markets by the end of this year. We believe that it will be introduced in India later this year or in early 2027.
