KYT R1R: Everything to know before buying it
The new R1R helmet is now available across all authorised KYT dealerships at Rs 39,000. It was first showcased at the India Bike Week 2025, revealing its sporty and aerodynamic design.
The brand claims that the helmet shell has been derived from the tricomposite material, which constitutes carbon fibre, aramid fibre, and fibreglass. On the inside, there is a multi-density EPS liner that ensures the rider gets the best safety.
It has been designed as per the international safety standards, and hence it comes with the ECE 22.06 certification. However, it misses out on the ISI certification, which has been mandated for all two-wheeler users across India.
On the comfort front, it comes with a Hydrocool padding, which dissipates heat at a rapid rate, thus providing comfort and ease to the rider during high-intensity riding. Meanwhile, it comes with an Optical Class 1 clarity visor with a 210-degree horizontal and 90-degree vertical field of view. It also gets optional tinted visors with a Pinlock-ready system.
The new R1R helmet is now available online as well as offline.
