2026 Renault Triber gets updated with segment-first features

Key highlights

  • Renault India updates Triber with segment-first automatic AC and one-touch tumble seats
  • Second-row full fold now unlocks 1065 litres of boot space
  • Prices range from Rs 5.80 lakh to Rs 8.00 lakh

Renault India has given the Renault Triber a few updates for 2026.

Small upgrades, big real-world impact

You now get automatic climate control. That’s a first in this segment. It sounds basic, but in Indian conditions, it’s a big win. Then there’s the second-row one-touch fold and tumble function. Getting into the third row should now be less of a mini workout. But the real party trick is the full-fold second row. Drop those seats, and the Triber opens up a massive 1065 litres of boot space.

Better cabin

Renault has also worked on how the cabin feels. You now get a dual-tone dashboard with a floating 20.32 cm touchscreen. It supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which instantly makes daily use easier. The layout looks cleaner, feels more premium. It’s still simple, but no longer barebones.

More features

The Evolution variant now gets steering-mounted controls and a day-night IRVM. The Techno variant adds useful bits like driver armrest, height adjustment, rear defogger, tweeters, and foldable ORVMs. The top Emotion trim gets automatic climate control, which honestly should make it the pick for most buyers.

Still the most flexible MPV in the segment?

The Triber continues to play its strongest card. Flexibility. You can run it as a 5, 6, or 7-seater. Few cars at this price even come close to this level of modularity. Whether it’s a family trip, airport run, or shifting half your house, the Triber adapts without complaining.

Safety and powertrain stay familiar

On the safety front, Renault is offering 21 features as standard, including six airbags, ABS with EBD, TPMS, and electronic stability control.

Under the hood, things remain unchanged. The 1.0-litre petrol engine makes 72PS and 96Nm. You get a 5-speed manual across variants, with an AMT available on the top trim.

Pricing and variants

  • Authentic: Rs 5.80 lakh
  • Evolution: Rs 6.69 lakh
  • Techno: Rs 7.39 lakh
  • Emotion: Rs 8.00 lakh
  • AMT (Emotion): Rs 8.47 lakh

(All prices ex-showroom)
