MV Agusta Brutale 800 gets striking new Nero Carbonio livery

Key highlights

  • MV Agusta introduces Nero Carbonio colour for the Brutale 800
  • New livery brings a darker, more aggressive visual identity
  • No mechanical changes; retains the same 798cc triple-cylinder engine

MV Agusta has given the MV Agusta Brutale 800 a fresh visual update, and it’s all about attitude this time. The new Nero Carbonio livery lands as a cosmetic upgrade, but it changes how the bike feels at first glance.

Design changes

The Nero Carbonio finish leans heavily into black, a layered, premium-looking dark theme with subtle contrasts. You get a mix of gloss and matte surfaces. Carbon-fibre elements stand out without screaming for attention. Small accents break the monotony just enough to keep things interesting. The Brutale has always been a good-looking naked bike. This update just makes it look meaner.

Same engine

Under all that dark paint sits the same 798cc inline three-cylinder engine putting out 112 bhp and 85 Nm. It continues to deliver sharp performance and a very distinctive exhaust note. The motor is known for its quick revving nature and strong top-end. It’s not the most relaxed engine out there, but that’s not what this bike is about. You get ride modes, traction control, and the usual electronics package that helps keep things in check when you get a bit enthusiastic.

Hardware stays untouched

The chassis, suspension, and braking setup remain unchanged. That means you still get a lightweight frame, premium suspension components, and strong braking performance. The Brutale will feel agile and responsive, especially when you push it through corners. In short, it rides exactly like it looks. Sharp and slightly unpredictable if you’re not paying attention.

A visual refresh that works

Sometimes, all a bike needs is a new look to feel fresh again. That’s exactly what MV Agusta has done here. The Nero Carbonio livery doesn’t try too hard. It simply enhances what was already there.
