Nissan Tekton SUV LED taillights up for grabs – Here’s how
The latest online listing of the LED taillights of the upcoming Tekton SUV has raised the eyebrows of every car enthusiast in India. Since the SUV is yet to be launched, the LED taillights of what we believe is the production-spec have been listed on IndiaMART’s website.
But how is it possible? While it is not the first time that we have seen the parts of an upcoming car model being sold in the aftermarket, the primary reason behind the source lies with the vendors.
Every car manufacturer invites various vendors before finalising the final part and the vendor. Therefore, the leftover parts are scrapped. However, some of these find their way to the aftermarket, which is why you can see these lights
Speaking of the design, the LED taillights feature a C-shaped pattern with smoked-out elements, and LED turn indicators along the reverse light embedded between the C-pattern. These lights had been teased earlier by the company with a connected lightbar setup.
However, we are not sure who will actually be able to use these lights, even if someone buys them. The production-spec Tekton is still undergoing testing and development. Nissan had plans to launch it in India in March 2026, but the final timeline seems to be pushed around Diwali festive season later this year.
