Vingroup is soon going to launch its fleet taxi service in India. The owner of the VinFast brand will debut a dedicated electric taxi service in Delhi-NCR on June 5. Know its complete details below.

VinFast Green SM taxi coming soon – What to expect?
Vingroup recently confirmed that it will soon enter the cut-throat taxi market in India. The Vietnamese brand will launch its dedicated electric taxi service, called Green SM, on June 5. Initially, this service will be available in Delhi-NCR, and later it will be expanded pan-India in a step-wise manner.
The Green SM service will be available via a dedicated mobile app, which users will be able to download and book or schedule a taxi as per their requirements. However, unlike other fleet operators like Uber or Ola that use cars of various brands, this service will include VinFast Green Limo models.
Mind you, the Green Limo is a budget-oriented cab version of the VF MPV 7. It is expected to get the ARAI certification soon, and it will have distinct badges and fewer features, which will set it apart from the VF MPV 7. For example, it will get steel rims, basic trim, seven seats, a smaller infotainment screen, manual AC controls, etc.
Mechanically, we expect the Limo Green to remain similar to the VF MPV 7. It is powered by a 60.13 kWh battery that offers 204 bhp and 280 Nm, and gets an ARAI-claimed range of 517 km. Vingroup has already established a dedicated charging station in Delhi-NCR, and all its drivers and staff will be highly trained, something similar to what we experienced with the Blu Smart.
