10,000th VinFast EV rolled out in India
VinFast has been placing big bets in the rapidly growing electric vehicle market in India. The Vietnamese carmaker has been locally assembling its two models, the VF6 and VF7, at its first Indian production facility based in Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu.
This happens to be the brand’s first production facility outside Vietnam, and it is the centre of expansion for the brand’s future plans. The 10,000th vehicle rolled out from this facility is the VF7 electric crossover.
Speaking of the future plans of the company, it recently began the production of its upcoming seven-seater electric MPV, called the VF MPV 7. The company also plans to add the VF5 electric hatchback to its Indian portfolio, which will also be used alongside the Green Limo in the Vingroup’s Green SM taxi service.
