If you were looking for an affordable, entry-level electric scooter for short commutes, Greaves Electric Mobility has a new option for you. The newly launched Ampere Reo VYB is now available at Rs 69,499 pan-India with an LFP battery pack, a sharp body design, and a long range for everyday commuting.
The brand says that the Revo VYB has been developed with a new lithium ferro phosphate battery pack that has been rigorously tested for its safety quotient against the hot and humid riding conditions of the Indian roads. Additionally, this scooter is a license-free EV as it has a top speed of 25 km/h, making it suitable for young riders and buyers who need a simple EV to transport or ferry luggage between short distances.
Meanwhile, the Revo VYB can deliver a real-world range of up to 80 km, which makes it one of the long-range EVs in its segment. The company states that this battery pack is rated for 1 lakh kilometres of use. The Revo VYB is available in four colour options: Warm White, Pastel Purple, Aqua Metallic, and Dark Grey.
It also gets the smart features like an LCD console that displays all necessary information, an underseat storage of 24 litres with a helmet carrying design, a front disc brake, LED lights, and a keyless start. Greaves Electric Mobility is offering a standard warranty of 3 years or 30,000 km on the Revo VYB electric scooter.
