Citroen has launched the updated version of the electric C3 hatchback in India. The new 2026 eC3X is now available in India at a starting price of Rs 10.25 lakh (ex-showroom). However, customers can also choose the BaaS or the battery-as-a-service option, which lowers the up-front payment to Rs 6.29 lakh, by adding a Rs 2.63/km battery rental fee.
What has changed on the new 2026 Citroen eC3X?
The new eC3X is available in three variants: Live, Live (O), and Shine. The exterior updates include the new projector headlamps, new dual-tone alloy wheels, and the electrically adjustable and foldable rear-view mirrors. The rest of the design remains unchanged on the eC3X as compared to the outgoing model.
Opposed to the exterior, the interior of the eC3X has more to offer. The updated EV now features a new dual-tone blue-black cabin theme, new leather seats that replace the outgoing fabric seats, and a new 7-inch digital driver console with new graphics.
Not just a refreshed cabin theme, but the eC3X also packs new features. It now includes a 6-speaker JBL sound system, a dashcam, an auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror, and a wireless charging pad. Citroen has also added two more airbags on the top variants, taking the total count to six airbags on the Shine version.
On the other hand, its 29.2 kWh battery pack remains unchanged, but it now delivers 79 km additional range as before. The new MIDC-claimed range of the eC3X is now 325 km, which makes it a more worthy competitor to the newly launched Tata Tiago EV. The eC3X produces 57 bhp and 143 Nm, while it gets a top speed of 107 km/h.
The eC3X also supports DC charging, which can juice it 10-80 per cent in 57 minutes. Meanwhile, it can be charged 10-100 per cent via the home AC charger in 10 hours and 30 minutes.
