BMW Group India launches annual Monsoon Service Campaign

Key highlights

  • BMW Group India has rolled out its annual Monsoon Service Campaign
  • Customers get a complimentary vehicle health check at authorised dealerships
  • Campaign includes inspections of wipers, brakes, tyres, electricals and more

With the monsoon season underway, BMW Group India has announced its annual ‘Relax. We Care.’ Monsoon Service Campaign across its authorised dealer network.

The initiative is aimed at helping BMW owners prepare their vehicles for heavy rains and unpredictable weather through a comprehensive preventive inspection carried out by certified BMW technicians.

Complimentary health check for your BMW

As part of the campaign, customers can bring their vehicles to any authorised BMW workshop for a free vehicle health check.

The inspection covers several important areas that can be affected during the rainy season, including:

  • Windscreen wipers and washer system
  • Automatic rain sensor and headlights
  • Headlamp and fog lamp alignment
  • Horn operation
  • Cabin air filters
  • Door and boot weather seals
  • Sunroof seals and drain pipes
  • Engine control unit (E-box) cleaning
  • Electrical connections
  • Tyre condition and tyre pressure
  • Exhaust system inspection
  • Brake pads and brake fluid

For BMW electric and plug-in hybrid models, technicians will also inspect the charging cable, charging socket and vehicle underbody.

Certified technicians and advanced diagnostics

BMW says every inspection will be carried out using advanced diagnostic equipment by trained technicians to identify potential issues before they become major repairs.

Customers are encouraged to book an appointment at their nearest authorised BMW service centre for a hassle-free experience.

Extra benefits for older BMWs

The company has also confirmed that BMW vehicles older than five years will be eligible for additional benefits under the BMW Joy Rewards programme.

The exact offers may vary by dealership and will be available during the service campaign.

Our Thoughts

Preventive maintenance often costs far less than unexpected repairs, especially during the monsoon when waterlogging and poor road conditions can take a toll on a vehicle.

BMW’s annual Monsoon Service Campaign gives owners an opportunity to have their cars thoroughly inspected at no additional cost, making it a worthwhile visit before the rainy season is in full swing.
