Bajaj has been teasing the new-generation Pulsar for quite some time now. While the brand has set an official unveiling date for the new Pulsar as August 12, the latest online leak has revealed the new bike completely.
2026 Bajaj Pulsar 125: What do we know so far?
As visible in the leaked photos, the new-generation Pulsar 125 has undergone a massive revamp in terms of styling and features. To begin with, the bike now gets a sleeker profile with aggressive graphics and a dual-tone paint shade. Bajaj has also used silver highlights on both sides of the new Pulsar to give it a more premium and fresh outlook.
The front fascia now features a new triangular LED projector headlight with ‘Tiger Eye’ daytime running lights, which represent the signature styling of the Pulsar. Additionally, it gets a teardrop-shaped fuel tank with sharp tank shrouds, which also resemble the Pulsar styling.
Since the Pulsar 125 is more of a sporty commuter, it features a sloping and wide single seat with a pillion grab handle and wide side panels on the tail. The split LED taillights are also embedded as a signature design element; however, these now extend from the top of the tail section to the mudguard.
Other notable changes include a revised chassis setup and a covered chain set, which is to improve the life of the chain. Meanwhile, the engine also seems to be redesigned, although online speculations hint that it is a 125cc unit. We believe that the engine will offer a better torque and power delivery with improved fuel economy.
The mechanical components of the bike have been painted in black, while it rides on the 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. The front suspension is a telescopic unit, while Bajaj has introduced a gas-charged monoshock rear suspension for added comfort.
The rear tyre also gets a tyre hugger to save the pillion and the trailing traffic from splashes. Meanwhile, there is a new digital LCD coloured instrument console that features enw graphics and Bluetooth connectivity. We suspect that the new Pulsar 125 would likely feature a single-channel ABS on the top-spec variant.
Bajaj will launch the new Pulsar 125 on August 12, and it will compete with the TVS Raider 125, Hero Xtreme 125R, and Honda SP 125 in India. We expect it to be priced around Rs 85,000.
