- Porsche India introduces an Assured Buy-Back Programme

- The programme covers select models including the Cayenne, Macan Electric and Taycan
Buying a Porsche is usually the easy part. Figuring out what it will be worth when you are ready to move on can be a little less predictable. Porsche India is now looking to address that with its new Assured Buy-Back Programme.
The programme gives eligible customers the option of locking in a pre-determined future value of up to 70% after 36 months. It is being offered in association with a preferred company and is designed to give buyers more certainty about the future resale value of their Porsche.
The programme is available to private customers purchasing eligible Porsche models. The list currently includes the Cayenne, Macan Electric and Taycan.
How does it work?
At the time of purchasing the car, customers can opt for an assured future value. The coverage then remains valid for three years from the vehicle sale invoice date.
At the end of those 36 months, the pre-agreed future value comes into play. The Assured Buy-Back Value Product covers the difference between this agreed value and the actual resale value achieved when the vehicle is sold, subject to the programme’s terms and conditions.
For a luxury car buyer, this could be particularly useful. Resale values can vary depending on the model, market conditions and the condition of the vehicle. Knowing that there is an agreed future value in place removes at least some of that uncertainty.
More flexibility for Porsche owners
Porsche India says the programme is also intended to make it easier for customers to continue their journey with the brand.
Someone buying a Cayenne today could have a clearer path towards another Porsche three years later, without having to worry quite as much about where the used-car market stands at that point.
The company sees the programme as part of its wider effort to improve the ownership experience beyond the initial purchase.
