JSW MG Motor India has revised the prices of the Majestor SUV for the first time since its launch in May 2026. The brand’s flagship SUV has now become expensive by Rs 1.50 lakh. However, the catch is that only the entry-level 2WD variants got this price hike, while the range-topping 4WD variant price remains unchanged.
The new price hike of Rs 1.50 lakh is for the 2WD Savvy variants, including the six-seater and seven-seater versions. Both models were previously priced at Rs 40.99 lakh, which have been repositioned at Rs 42.49 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the 4WD Savvy variant is priced at Rs 44.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new price correction has brought the Majestor closer to the Toyota Fortuner Legender’s prices, where the latter remains the segment leader as of now. For reference, the Fortuner Legender 4X2 AT is priced at Rs 42.92 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the 4X4 AT is priced at Rs 46.54 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Majestor SUV is based on the Gloster SUV, but it offers new styling with its redesigned front fascia, new vertical LED headlights, bigger dual-tone alloy wheels, and a redesigned rear profile with a new bumper and taillights. Meanwhile, its interior packs a plush and premium design with features like the dual 12.3-inch screens for infotainment and driver console, 12-speaker JBL sound system, a three-zone automatic climate control, Level 2 ADAS, ventilated seats, wireless charging, and more.
Powering the Majestor is the Stellantis-sourced 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine, developing 212 bhp and 478.5 Nm. It is paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and gets 4WD with 10 off-road modes and 810 mm of water wading capacity.
The Majestor SUV is now available at Rs 42.49-44.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
