TVS Motor has introduced a new, more equipped variant of the Apache RTR 200 4V ahead of the festive season. The new variant packs new features that make it a more value-for-money motorcycle than ever before.
Priced at Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), this new variant adds features like an adjustable front suspension, a Type-C USB charging port, a panic brake alert system, and Google Maps mirroring in the TFT console. The latter adds a smart display that replaces the outgoing turn-by-turn navigation with the full-fledged Google Maps integration. However, since it is a phone mirroring feature, riders will have to be careful with the battery drain on their smartphones when connected.
This new variant can be had in various colour options with aggressive styling bits like contrasting alloy wheels and graphics. The colour options on the new Apache RTR 200 4V include Sepang Blue, Armoury Green, Racing Red, and Matte Black. An interesting thing to note is that TVS Motor Company used to offer adjustable front suspension on the Apache RTR 200 4V in 2022. However, the brand later removed this feature, citing high input costs and lower usability for customers.
With that said, the Apache RTR 200 4V continues to be powered by an E20-compliant engine. The bike carries over the 197.7cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine that churns out 20.51 bhp and 17.25 Nm of peak power and torque. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox, a slipper-assist clutch, three riding modes, and comes with features like adjustable levers.
This new variant is now available across all dealerships nationwide. Deliveries are expected to commence shortly.
