TVS Motor has introduced the updated Apache RTR 160 and RTR 160 4V models in India. The latest update brings with it two new range-topping variants that include more features.
As per the details, the Apache RTR 160 now comes with a new top variant called Dual Channel ABS with TCS. This variant has been priced at Rs 1,27,990 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). This new variant adds a Traction Control System, which offers improved control in risky riding conditions like rain, gravel, etc. Customers can choose from Matte Black colour with Red alloy wheels, White colour with Red alloy wheels, Arctic Teal, and Granite Grey colour options. Along with the TCS, it also gets hazard lights with LED turn indicators.
Moving on to the Apache RTR 160 4V, the bike features a new variant called TFT with Map Mirroring. This variant has been priced at Rs 1,41,440 (ex-showroom, New Delhi), and it is available in Arctic Teal with Champagne Gold alloy wheels, Matte Black, Racing Red, and Marine Blue colour options. This new variant adds Google Maps mirroring navigation support to the TFT console, which is first-in-segment. Additionally, TVS has also equipped this variant with a USB Type-C charging port and a panic braking alert system in the taillight for improved safety.
Both variants add new features but remain mechanically unaltered. The Apache RTR 160 is powered by a 159.7 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, producing 15.82 bhp and 13.9 Nm. Meanwhile, the Apache RTR 160 4V is powered by the same engine but with 4-valve technology, which offers 17.55 bhp and 14.73 Nm.
TVS has commenced pre-bookings for the new variants of the Apache RTR 160 range. Deliveries are expected to commence shortly.
