Nissan has unveiled the all-new PIXO, a compact electric city car developed specifically for European urban environments. Positioned in the A-segment, the PIXO combines a small footprint with a surprisingly spacious cabin, connected technology and a claimed 259 km WLTP range.
Small yet practical
The PIXO measures 3,796 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width and 1,512 mm in height, with a 2,492 mm wheelbase. Its 9.9-metre turning circle is intended to make it easier to manoeuvre through narrow streets and tight parking spaces. Despite its compact dimensions, Nissan claims the car can accommodate four adults.
Practicality is another focus. The PIXO offers 356 litres of boot space with the rear seats raised, including 50 litres allocated for cable storage. Folding the rear seats increases capacity to 1,221 litres. Independent sliding rear seats allow owners to adjust the cabin between passenger and luggage requirements.
Power and battery
Power comes from a 60 kW electric motor, while energy is supplied by a 27.5 kWh LFP battery. The battery supports 50kW DC rapid charging as standard, allowing a 15 to 80% charge in approximately 28 minutes. An 11 kW bidirectional AC charger is also offered for home and workplace charging.
Features
The cabin gets a 7-inch driver display and 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Google built-in provides navigation and connectivity, while Gemini offers voice-based assistance. Face ID can recognise the driver and automatically load personalised settings.
The PIXO also gets adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, Lane Departure Warning and Hands-Free Parking. One-Pedal technology is standard, allowing the driver to accelerate, decelerate and bring the car to a stop using the accelerator pedal.
Designed by Nissan and manufactured by Renault, the PIXO will be produced at Renault’s facility in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. Customer deliveries in Europe are scheduled to begin in early 2027, while pricing and market-specific specifications will be announced from December 2026 onwards.
