While Mahindra has already revealed the upcoming Scorpio Lifestyler pickup truck in August, the brand continues its testing in India. A test mule was recently spotted closely, with camouflage, revealing the new design details of the production-spec model.
The most interesting bit that has been revealed in the new spy images is its production-spec LED lights. At the front, the test mule featured sharp LED projector headlights with sleek LED daytime running lights. To top it off, the fascia gets a new bold look with a squared-off grille that gets horizontal slats.
The side profile of the test mule is similar to what Mahindra showcased as a prototype in August this year. It seems to be riding on the new six-spoke alloy wheels, which we believe are R17. The fat side profile will help provide decent ride quality, while the small wheel and big arches will provide off-road capability.
At the back, it featured the new vertical LED taillights with C-shaped styling for the main lights, while the turn indicators and reverse lights are placed between the C-shaped pattern. Mahindra has tried to design the Lifestyler differently from the Scorpio N, but there are some bits that have been carried over, which include the side mirrors, roofline, door handles, and front glass.
The interior design is also inspired by the Scorpio N facelift. The particular test mule had the same three-spoke steering wheel, digital driver cockpit, and overall dashboard silhouette as the Scorpio N. The differentiating aspects included the vertical central infotainment screen and new seats.
Since this is still a WIP, we believe that the final design and specs will only be revealed as we approach its official launch timeline in India, which is by April 2027.
