Avore EX1 and EX2 electric bikes launched from Rs 1.25 lakh

Gujarat-based new electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Avore, has introduced its product range in India. The brand launched two new models named EX1 and EX2.

Avore EX1: Price, specs, range & features

Avore EX2

The EX1 electric motorcycle is Avore’s most affordable product. It is priced at Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers as an introductory offer. Later, this price will be increased.

The EX1 offers a sporty design with mid-controls and modern design elements like a sharp projector LED headlight cowl, a sculpted dummy fuel tank, split seat, split pillion grab rails, blacked-out mechanical components and alloy wheels, telescopic front suspension, and a monoshock rear suspension.

The new EX1 electric bike is powered by a 3.24 kWh battery pack that offers a claimed range of 160 km. It is paired to a 10.5 kW electric motor that can propel it from 0-40 km/h in 3.2 seconds, thus ensuring quick acceleration in city traffic. Moreover, it comes with features like a 7-inch coloured LCD console, Bluetooth connectivity, three ride modes (Eco, Normal, Sport), a 750w charging socket, and more.

Avore EX2: Price, specs, range & features

Avore EX2

Based on the same platform as the EX1 electric sports commuter bike, the EX2 is a premium offering with a bigger battery pack and improved performance. It uses a bigger 5 kWh battery that is paired to a 10.5 kW electric motor. The EX2 can deliver up to 255 km on a full charge, and it offers a top speed of 100 km/h.

The styling and features on the EX2 are identical to the EX1 model. It gets a 1500w on-board charger that can juice it from 20 to 80 per cent in 2 hours. The list of features includes LED lighting, a digital LCD console with smartphone connectivity, twin disc brakes, ride modes, reverse mode, etc.

Avore EX2S variant

Avore also offers a range-topping EX2S variant, which offers up to 260 km of claimed range. It can sprint 0-40 km/h in 2.8 seconds and offers a top speed of up to 114 km/h. The EX2S variant comes with a premium TFT coloured console with Bluetooth connectivity, ride modes, reverse gear, music support, geofencing, navigation, and more. The most interesting bit about the EX2S is its mechanical gearbox that offers a conventional ICE motorcycle riding experience. Moreover, the rider can switch it off or on depending on their requirement.
