- Hero Xoom 125 spotted in a new colour
- Spied at a dealership in a matte grey and golden bronze combo
- Likely to be launched soon
Hero MotoCorp is likely to give the Xoom 125 scooter a little update soon. The new update will offer a new dual-tone colour combination, which was recently spotted at a dealership.
The latest spy images show the new scooter parked at a dealership yard. It features a new dark matte grey colour on the body panels, while the side fairing and footboard panels are draped in a matte golden-bronze colour option. The rest of the scooter is unchanged, as it features the same design and blacked-out mechanical components, including the alloys, engine casing, and exhaust.
The spied scooter with this new colour option is based on the VX variant. If the new colour is launched, we highly suspect that its price will not change. The current Xoom 125 VX variant is priced at Rs 83,394 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Speaking of its styling, it continues to offer a sharp design with twin-pod headlights, C-shaped sharp daytime running LED lights, split LED taillights, split pillion grab rails, and a stepped seat with a large footboard area. The features include a digital instrument console, Type-C USB charging port, underseat helmet storage, drum brakes with a CBS or combined braking system, etc.
Powering the Xoom 125 scooter is a reliable and fuel-efficient 124.6cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine. This powerplant makes 9.8 bhp and 10.4 Nm of power and torque, and it is paired with a CVT automatic gearbox.
With that said, the new colour could be added to the current colour palette of the Xoom 125 in the coming days. Hero is likely to offer similar visual updates for its other models as well, as part of the festive season preparation to boost sales.
