- Honda and Onitsuka Tiger unveil a one-off motorcycle concept in Milan
- Gets the fashion brand’s signature Tiger Yellow and black design
- No production or sales plans have been announced
Honda has teamed up with Japanese fashion brand Onitsuka Tiger for a unique motorcycle concept unveiled at Milan Fashion Week. Called the Onitsuka Tiger Honda Mid Sports Concept, the motorcycle combines Honda’s mid-displacement sports bike platform with Onitsuka Tiger’s distinctive design language.
Honda Onitsuka Tiger makeover
The concept is finished in Tiger Yellow, the colour strongly associated with Onitsuka Tiger. Bold black stripes run across the bodywork, while the predominantly black alloy wheels get matching yellow detailing.
The front fairing features narrow headlight openings that give the motorcycle a distinctive appearance. Honda and Onitsuka Tiger branding is incorporated across the motorcycle, while the overall design remains recognisably that of a sporty mid-capacity motorcycle.
Honda has not revealed the exact production model that forms the basis of the concept, nor has it disclosed any mechanical specifications. The focus of the project is clearly on combining motorcycle design with fashion rather than previewing a new Honda production motorcycle.
Motorcycle and fashion come together
The collaboration was unveiled alongside Onitsuka Tiger’s Spring/Summer 2027 women’s collection in Milan. The partnership also extends beyond the motorcycle, with Onitsuka Tiger showcasing footwear and apparel featuring Honda’s Wing logo.
The two companies have an interesting historical connection. Honda was founded in 1948, while Onitsuka Tiger was established in 1949, with both Japanese brands having evolved from performance-focused businesses into globally recognised names. The collaboration aims to bring motorcycle culture and fashion closer together.
Importantly, Honda has no plans to put this concept into production or sell it. It is being presented purely as a showcase of the collaboration.
Final thoughts
The Mid Sports Concept may never make it into a Honda showroom, but it shows how far motorcycle design can stretch when engineering takes a back seat to fashion. And with that yellow-and-black treatment, this one certainly knows how to grab attention.
