The dates for India Bike Week 2026 have been announced. India’s biggest motorcycle festival will return to Panchgani, Maharashtra, on December 4 and 5, marking the second consecutive year that the event will be held away from its traditional home in Goa.
The move to Panchgani was first made for the 2025 edition after local election protocols forced the organisers to shift away from Vagator, Goa. The hill station will now host IBW for another year, with the organisers positioning it as a new home for the event.
What to expect at India Bike Week 2026
IBW 2026 will retain the mix of motorcycle-focused activities that has made the festival popular. The schedule includes five different race events, covering disciplines such as dirt racing, off-road riding, time trials and arena-based competition.
The event will also feature stunt shows, custom motorcycle builds, live music, food and gear stalls, along with camping and bonfire sessions. The official IBW website also lists hill climb, flat track and mud rush among the attractions for this year’s event.
Motorcycle manufacturers and other brands are expected to showcase their latest products, while visitors will get opportunities for test rides and new-bike launches. More than 250 brands are expected to participate, covering motorcycles, riding gear, custom parts and related products.
The organisers are also planning rides to Panchgani from major cities and have teased event-specific merchandise.
Tickets and location
India Bike Week will take place at Peak Panchgani, around 4,550 feet above sea level. The venue is approximately four hours from Mumbai and 2.5 hours from Pune by road. The organisers have confirmed that owning a motorcycle is not mandatory to attend the festival. Riders, pillions, families and motorcycle enthusiasts can all attend.
Ticket prices and registration details for the 2026 edition are yet to be announced. The organisers have also clarified that tickets will be non-refundable and non-transferable.
