Kia India has announced that the Carens family has crossed the 3 lakh sales milestone in India. Since its launch, the Carens has established itself as one of Kia’s most important products, helping the brand strengthen its presence in the family vehicle segment.

Over the years, Kia has expanded the Carens range with the introduction of the Carens Clavis and the recently launched Carens Clavis EV, giving buyers the option of petrol, diesel and electric powertrains under a single model family.

Evolution of the Carens lineup

The Carens started as a practical family mover, but Kia has steadily evolved the range to cater to changing customer preferences. It is one of the rare brand that has offerings in three powertrains. Petrol and diesel with both automatic and manual options and the newly launched Carens Clavis EV complete the Carens line-up.

According to Kia, this multi-powertrain approach has helped the Carens family appeal to a wider audience while keeping up with changing market trends.
