India’s leading car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki, is consistently expanding its service network in the country. The brand has inaugurated its 6,000th service centre recently in Kozhikhode, Keralam.
The new service centre is spread over 1,820 square metres, and it has two service bays and three repair bays for the ICE models. Meanwhile, it is also equipped with an electric vehicle service facility. Additionally, the service centre has been equipped with DC charging so that the EV buyers can quickly charge their cars.
Maruti’s top USP remains its widespread and fuss-free after-sales car service. The brand also opened a record 502 service touchpoints nationwide in FY2025-26. Not only this, but Maruti also serviced a total of 2.84 crore vehicles in the previous fiscal year, making it the highest achievement by any car manufacturer in the history of the Indian automotive industry.
However, the brand is not just stopping here. The future plans of expansion include the inauguration of 500 service touchpoints in FY2026-27.
Mind you, Maruti’s service centres include the Arena and Nexa car servicing workshops along with the Maruti Sales and Service Points (MSSP), rural workshops, Maruti’s Authorised Service Stations, and Service-on-Wheels. The service centres also include dedicated customer lounges with facilities like air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, device charging ports, and more.
On the other hand, the brand has recently revised the prices of its entire car range in India. The new prices have witnessed a minor hike, which has been done due to the consistently increasing input and logistics costs. The brand is also working on new models, which include the upcoming hybrid cars like Fronx. Maruti is also rumoured to bring the mildly updated XL6 facelift in India soon.
