What to expect from the Norton Atlas?
The latest spy shots of the Atlas adventure motorcycle’s test mule come directly from down south. A production-ready test motorcycle is seen draped in black colour, and after noticing its 19-inch(front)/17-inch(rear) alloy wheel setup, we are sure that it is the Standard version.
Norton displayed the pre-production Atlast at the EICMA 2025 in Italy. The brand then revealed that it will be offered in two variants: Standard and GT, where the latter will focus on off-road hardware upgrades.
The test bike bears a clean and unique design with its horizontal LED DRL/headlamp and a unique cowl design that extends to the fuel tank seamlessly. Other visible details include the golden USD forks and a relaxed riding posture of the rider.
While not much is known about its features and hardware, we can safely assume it to be equipped with the TFT console, smartphone connectivity, navigation support, ride modes, traction modes, and more. In terms of hardware, it is likely to offer tubeless spoke rims on the GT variant, an adjustable rear monoshock suspension, and a list of accessories for touring.
Powering the Atlas ADV will be a 585cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled motor that is suspected to develop 70bhp. It will be a 270-degree crank layout motor, which will offer a linear torque curve. It will be offered with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-assist clutch with possibly an optional quickshifter.
As far as the launch timeline is concerned, we suspect that it will be launched by mid-2026 in India. With that said, its pricing will be on the premium side of the spectrum, possibly more than Rs 5 lakh for the GT variant.
