Royal Enfield has finally unveiled the Continental GT 750 at EICMA 2026, expanding its popular cafe racer family with a bigger and more powerful platform. The new motorcycle shares its 743 cc parallel-twin engine architecture with the Himalayan 750, but gets a different setup to suit its sportier character.
The Continental GT 750 will be offered in two distinct versions, one with a front fairing and another that retains the traditional, unfaired cafe racer styling. It is also set to become Royal Enfield’s most powerful production motorcycle yet.
Powertrain
The Continental GT 750 uses an uprated version of the new 743cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine. While Royal Enfield has not revealed its final power and torque figures, the motor is expected to have a different tune from the Himalayan 750.
There are some notable hardware differences too. Unlike the Himalayan’s ride-by-wire setup, the Continental GT 750 uses a cable-actuated throttle. It also gets twin exhaust pipes instead of the adventure bike’s 2-into-1 exhaust arrangement.
The motorcycle features dual front disc brakes, while the suspension and other cycle-part specifications are yet to be officially detailed.
Faired and unfaired versions
The faired version gets a small front fairing, lower handlebars and a more committed riding position. The unfaired version, meanwhile, stays closer to the familiar Continental GT silhouette and offers relatively relaxed ergonomics.
Royal Enfield has showcased three colour options: Red Line, TT Blue and Master Clean. The Red Line and TT Blue versions get the café racer-inspired fairing, while Master Clean retains the classic unfaired appearance.
Another interesting addition is the new hybrid twin-pod instrument cluster. It retains the analogue-style twin-dial layout associated with the GT range but incorporates a TFT display, bringing modern functionality without completely abandoning the retro theme.
India launch likely in 2027
Royal Enfield has not announced the full technical specifications, pricing or exact launch date of the Continental GT 750. However, an India launch is expected in 2027. The motorcycle is also likely to make an appearance at the upcoming Motoverse event in Goa.
