This year’s most awaited motorcycle launch in India is going to be the Himalayan 750. While the brand has not disclosed its exact launch timeline, it did announce that this year’s annual Motoverse festival will take place from November 27 to November 29 in Vagator, Goa.
Mind you, the previous official confirmation states that the new 750cc platform will debut at EICMA 2026 in Italy, which is also set to take place in November 2026. Royal Enfield has used EICMA as a global launchpad, and later it introduces the new models via Motoverse in India – something that the Classic 650, Bullet 650, and other models have witnessed.
In a similar fashion, the new 750cc Himalayan will be introduced in November. Along with the new-gen Himalayan, the brand is also expected to reveal the pre-production prototypes of the upcoming Interceptor 750, Continental GT 750, and electric models like the Flying Flea at Motoverse 2026.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: What do we know so far?
However, it will be the Himalayan 750 that will bear the load of introducing the new 750cc powertrain to the world. Moreover, it will also become the new flagship model of the company, which is suspected to target Western customers more.
The previously spotted Himalayan 750 test mules have already clarified that it will be more of a road-oriented heavyweight ADV, rather than a hardcore off-road machine. It is also expected to arrive in GT and off-road variants, with one offering alloys and a lowered seat height, and the other offering more suspension travel, spoked tubeless rims, and a higher seat height.
The new 750cc engine is essentially an extended version of the current 648cc parallel-twin. It will remain an air/oil-cooled motor, but the power is expected to jump to around 55 bhp, and the peak torque will be around 65 bhp.
The new Himalayan 750 will also become the most tech-loaded bike of the brand as it will introduce cruise control, traction modes, and other features. However, a lean-sensitive ABS and other features are likely to be a miss due to cost-cutting.
Royal Enfield will position the Himalayan 750 against the upcoming Norton Atlas GT, but it will undercut the Norton ADV by around Rs 1 lakh. Therefore, its expected launch price could be around Rs 4-4.5 lakh.
