Key highlights
- Toyota Innova Hycross facelift India debut next month
- Likely to get an E85-compliant engine
- Mild cosmetic changes and feature additions are expected
Toyota is soon going to launch the first update for the Innova Hycross in the form of a facelift. The facelifted model is rumoured to debut on November 26 in India.
The new Innova Hycross facelift has been spotted testing quite a few times. The earlier spy shots have revealed details like the redesigned bumpers, a new front grille, and redesigned LED lights, along with the new fog lights.
The cabin design of the new Hycross is expected to be more or less similar to the current model. However, we expect it to get new features like the ventilated rear seats, a new infotainment screen, and improved NVH levels for passenger comfort.
With that said, the current engine options are likely to be offered as they are on the facelifted model. These will include the 2.0-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol motor and a 2.5-litre four-cylinder hybrid engine.
However, the online rumours also hint at a new E85-compliant engine. The Innova Hycross facelift is expected to become the first-ever flex-fuel vehicle of the brand in India. Toyota had already displayed a prototype of the E85-compliant Innova Hycross in 2023.
Toyota is also expected to add advanced features to the Innova Hycross facelift, like the 360-degree camera view, which has been missing since launch. The interior theme is also likely to get updated, while the MPV will remain focused on passenger comfort.
With that said, the new Hycross is most likely to be positioned above the current model. The present model is priced at Rs 18.70-31.84 lakh (ex-showroom).
