Tata cars to become expensive in July: Here’s why
As shared by the brand, Tata claims that the rising input costs and inflationary pressures have led to the decision of a new price correction. The price hike will include all ICE and EV Tata cars, and the maximum price hike will be up to 1.5 per cent, depending on the model.
The new prices will be implemented from July 1, 2026. The brand says that it has been absorbing the major part of the inflationary pressure, and the price hike will only pass the least part to the customers.
With that said, the brand is also planning to launch the Sierra EV. It is a new electric SUV based on the acti.ev+ platform, which is also used on the Harrier EV. Tata will launch the Sierra EV on June 30, 2026, and it will be positioned between the Curvv EV and the Harrier EV. The expected launch price of the Sierra EV is around Rs 18-25 lakh.
