The latest spotting of the Fronx facelift test car comes from down south. The black camouflaged test car was seen in Karnataka at a parking spot with minor updates.

Although the test car was covered, the spy photos that got leaked through r/CarIndia’s Reddit account showcase that it will feature a new bumper design with a new front grille. The test car also had the 360-degree camera and ADAS setup, the latter of which is probably going to be added to the facelifted model.

The side profile had the new alloy wheels that boasted a striking design, complementing the overall sporty profile of the crossover. While the rear design is yet to be revealed, we expect that the major change at the rear will mostly be a new bumper along with new LED taillights.

The front profile continues using the tri-LED headlight setup, and the facelift is expected to miss out on the projector headlights on the top-spec variants. Apart from these changes, the interior design is also expected to undergo a revision.

A close look at the spy images reveal that the infotainment screen seems to be repositioned towards the driver. This could mean that the dashboard is also likely to witness a redesign. Although we are uncertain that whether Maruti would redesign the entire cockpit or not, but surely the facelifted Fronx will get more features.

Powering the Fronx facelift will be the current engine options. These include the 1.2-litre petrol, 1.2-litre CNG, and the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine options. In the later stage, probably by the end of 2028, a new series hybrid powertrain could also be revealed. This engine will be used on a wide range of models, including the Baleno facelift, next-gen Brezza, next-gen Ertiga, and more.

The updated Fronx facelift could launch next year. However, Maruti is currently busy working on the upcoming Brezza facelift.
