- Tata Tigor facelift design patent leaked
- Features a new front fascia
- It is expected to debut by the end of this year
Tata Motors recently introduced the new-gen Tiago. The little hatchback underwent a massive design update, and now it seems that its sedan sibling is set to follow the same path. The Tigor compact sedan’s upcoming facelifted model design patent image has leaked online, showing us the new changes that it will receive.
What to expect from the upcoming Tata Tigor facelift?
The design patent shows a completely new front fascia that looks inspired by the new Tiago. The sedan will get a set of new LED headlamps that look sharper and slimmer than the current design. These headlamps seem to be connected via a black panel in between.
Moreover, the front bumper has undergone a massive change. It is now more streamlined and has a revised lower grille and new air dams that have been positioned on the extreme ends with a curvy design.
Other notable changes include the addition of a new front camera on the nose, new rear-view mirrors with camera mounting, and new alloy wheels. The front camera also clarifies that the Tigor facelift will get the 360-degree camera view.
Meanwhile, the rear design has not been revealed yet, but we believe that it will also undergo a massive change, expectedly including a set of new LED-connected taillights, a new rear bumper, and a more streamlined rear design.
The cabin design is also likely to receive similar changes that we recently saw on the new Tiago. However, the only difference could be the interior theme, fabrics used, and the comfort features.
Mechanically, the Tigor facelift is expected to remain unaltered. It will continue using the current 1.2-litre petrol and CNG engine options with manual and AMT transmission options.
Tata has not spoken a word about the Tigor facelift, but the design patent hints that it could be launched by the end of this year. With the new changes, the Tigor facelift could become expensive by a few thousand.
