Royal Enfield is all set to introduce its first-ever 750cc motorcycle. The upcoming Himalayan 750 dual-sport adventure bike seems to be production-ready, as the latest spy shots have surfaced from the UK showing its final ready form.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: What do we know so far?
The upcoming Himalayan 750 was recently spotted in the UK, near the company’s UK-based R&D facility. The non-branded test mule looks production-ready as it is draped in a glossy black paint shade, and boasts hardware and features that are most likely to be fitted on the production version.
The latest sighting could also be the brand’s typical way of marketing its new products; since it looks almost production-ready, we assume that the engineers are nearly done testing and finalising the final model. Speaking of the details, the Himalayan 750 will be more of a road-oriented tourer, rather than an off-roader like the smaller Himalayan 450.
Its design is slightly different from what we have seen on the 450 Himalayan. The bike sits fairly lower to the ground, has a low seat height to make it more accessible, does not get a front beak or handle guards, and rides on the smaller 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels. This could be a GT variant meant for touring, and the panniers and guards will most likely be offered as accessories.
On the other hand, Royal Enfield continues with its neo-retro styling identity through a new LED reflector headlight, an oval digital instrument screen, and a fuel tank that resembles the original Himalayan 411. Although the bike has a wider seat, a bigger fuel tank, and a comfortable and upright riding posture, which hints at a comfortable highway tourer setup.
The tail section is the most resembling with the current Himalayan 450, as it gets the LED taillights embedded into the turn signals. The subframe is also different, and the monoshock rear suspension has been placed vertically, unlike the diagonal setup on the Himalayan 450.
We are repeatedly comparing it with the Himalayan 450 because that is exactly where it has been derived from. Moving on, the front suspension is a USD unit, which is likely to feature adjustability on the off-road variant. However, the most interesting part is the engine, which is rumoured to be a big-bore version of the 650cc parallel-twin.
This new engine is most likely a 750cc unit, and it continues with the air/oil-cooling. Online reports hint that it will make somewhere around 55 bhp and 65 Nm of torque, and it will get a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and a quickshifter. Moreover, there is a new two-in-one side exhaust with an upswept design for easy water wading. This looks inspired by the Akrapovic design, and we are hopeful that it will sound sweet as well.
With that said, it will be the most well-equipped Royal Enfield motorcycle to date. Online reports hint that it will get a six-axis IMU with features like cruise control, lean-sensitive ABS, ride and traction modes, and more.
Royal Enfield will debut the production bike at the EICMA 2026 in November. The bike is expected to hit Indian showrooms by the first quarter of 2027. It will be the latest flagship model of the brand, and we believe that it will also become the most expensive Royal Enfield bike to go on sale, with an expected launch price of around Rs 4.5-5 lakh.
