VinFast India has launched its third product and its first 7-seven seater MPV in India. Dubbed as the VF MPV7, the three row SUV is priced at Rs 24.49 lakh ex-showroom across India under ‘One India, One Price’. It will be offered in six colours.
Design and features
The design of the MPV7 is unmistakable. On the exterior, the MPV7 keeps things clean but modern. It gets LED DRLs with integrated indicators, 19-inch alloy wheels, a large glass area, and a rear spoiler.
The cabin keeps things simple but smart. You get a 10.1-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There are multiple storage spaces, wireless charging pads, and USB ports across rows.
Boot space stands at 126 litres with all seats up. Fold them down and you get up to 1,240 litres.
Other highlights include automatic climate control with PM 2.5 filter, rear AC vents for all rows, and a minimal yet premium dual-tone interior option.
Powertrain
The VF MPV7 is equipped with a 60.13 kWh battery pack that claims a range of 517 km. Coupled with its fast charging tech, the car can be charged from 10% to 70% in 30 mins. The electric motor can propel the MPV from 0 to 100 kmph in under 9 secs. The motor produces 204 PS of power and 280 Nm of peak torque. It supports DC fast charging up to 80 kW and can go from 10 to 70 percent in about 30 minutes.
SafetyÂ
VinFast has equipped the MPV7 with all the essentials. You get ABS, EBD, ESC, traction control, and hill start assist. It also comes with four airbags and all-disc brakes.
Convenience features include an electronic parking brake with auto hold, keyless entry, and a brake pedal integrated starter.
After sales and warranty
The VF MPV7 comes with a 10-year warranty on the battery and a 7-year warranty on the overall vehicle. This also includes a 7-year warranty on the paint of the car and a 7-year roadside assistance package. In an industry first, the suspension gets a 5-year warranty. In terms of service, buyers will get a 3-year free maintenance package.
Bigger picture: more than just one car
The VF MPV7 is part of a larger plan. It joins the VF 6 and VF 7 in VinFast’s growing India portfolio.
The brand is also pushing initiatives like free charging on the V-Green network till March 2029, a trade-in programme, and buyback schemes of up to 75 percent. All of this aims to reduce the risk for first-time EV buyers.
