Aprilia has given its entry-level naked sportsbike, the Tuono 457, a little makeover. The new Tuono 457 Special Edition has been introduced in India with slight visual updates and technical upgrades for a more engaging and comfortable riding experience.
The first noticeable change is the addition of the two new colours: Black Mambe and Puma Grey. These colours are inspired by the iconic 2006 model Tuono 1000R naked sportsbike. Additionally, Aprilia has added new graphics to the Tuono to make it look refreshed.
Another update includes the addition of a new tinted windscreen and taller handlebar, which make the bike more comfortable for long-distance touring. Aprilia engineers have also revised the seat design for more comfort.
Meanwhile, the adjustable brake lever and the reworked suspension setup offer a more engaging riding feel. On the suspension, Aprilia engineers have softened the initial stroke. Additionally, the compression damping has also been revised for better feedback.
Powering the new model is the same 457cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled motor that makes 47.6 bhp and 43.5 Nm. The Tuono 457 Special Edition gets the features like a TFT console, ride modes, traction modes, lean-sesitive ABS, a bi-directional quickshifter, slipper clutch, USB phone charging port, TPMS, and more.
