Mahindra has released a new teaser video that shows the Thar Roxx coming soon in a new avatar. This teaser has raised the eyebrows of car enthusiasts in India. Check out below what this new Thar Roxx could be.

Mahindra Thar Roxx new teaser – What is it?
The newly released teaser of the Thar Roxx shows the current model’s silhouette parked under the spotlight, and the teaser text also quotes, “The spotlight has found its star”.
While online rumours hint that this could be a facelifted model, we do not think so. It is because Mahindra launched the Thar Roxx in August 2024, and it is too soon of a timespan for Mahindra to launch an update. Instead, we believe that it is most likely a special edition, which will offer subtle cosmetic changes like a new colour, special upholstery or decals.
Moreover, Mahindra could be celebrating a sales milestone with this special edition. Even the teaser image of the silhouette looks unchanged from the current model. Hence, it is most likely to be a cosmetically upgraded version.
With that said, we do not believe that the upcoming Thar Roxx variant or model will feature any mechanical changes or new features. However, with its ‘special’ badge, it is most likely to be priced a little higher as compared to its equivalent standard variants.
