What to expect from the 2026 Honda City facelift?
Honda has begun the road testing of the upcoming City facelift. The updated model was recently spotted in Brazil with mild updates.
The latest spy shot taken from the back of the car showcases that the facelift will bring only minor design changes and not a substantial upgrade. The rear design boasts a set of reworked LED taillights and a revised bumper, which are likely to take inspiration from the new Honda Civic in the global market.
Similarly, the front fascia is also likely to feature a set of new, sleeker LED headlights, a new grille, and a new sculpted bumper with aero dams. Overall, the City facelift will remain unaltered dimensionally, while the alloy wheels are likely to get an update.
We suspect that the interior will feature a refreshed central console with a new infotainment screen and an updated instrument cluster UI. Honda is also likely to equip the updated City with new features, including front ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, and more.
Mechanically, it will remain unchanged. Which means it will carry forward the current 1.5-litre i-Vtec petrol and the 1.5-litre HEV hybrid engine options. The updated City facelift is likely to be launched in the global market by the end of this year, which means that its India launch could take place in Q1 2027.
