VinFast Limo Green to target fleets in India, ride-hailing plans on the horizon

Key highlights

  • VinFast to sell Limo Green exclusively to fleet operators
  • Will launch alongside VinFast VF MPV 7 on April 15, 2026
  • Likely to support VinFast’s upcoming ride-hailing service in India

Alongside the VF MPV 7, VinFast will introduce a fleet-focused electric MPV called the Limo Green. Both models are set to launch on April 15, 2026, with deliveries expected soon after. The Limo Green is not meant for you and me. It is built for fleet operators.

A fleet-first strategy, not an afterthought

With the Limo Green, VinFast joins a small club of brands that offer dedicated fleet vehicles in India. Think of how Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors and Toyota approach this space. The idea is simple. Build a version that works harder, costs less to run, and skips the fluff.

That is exactly what the Limo Green aims to do. In fact, the Limo Green is sold as a fleet vehicle in Vietnam as well.

Same bones, different purpose

Underneath, the Limo Green shares a lot with the VF MPV 7. It uses the same electric platform and keeps the 7-seat layout. Expect similar space, similar practicality, and a comparable boot.

The VF MPV 7 itself comes with a 60.13 kWh battery pack. It powers a front-mounted motor producing 204 hp and 280 Nm. Claimed range is expected to cross 500 km. The Limo Green should carry most of this hardware forward.

What sets it apart

The Limo Green will get its own badging and a separate certification tailored for fleet operations. This is necessary to meet regulatory requirements. Inside, things will be simpler. While the VF MPV 7 may offer a more premium dual-tone cabin, the Limo Green will likely stick to a straightforward all-black interior.

There could also be minor styling tweaks on the outside to visually separate it from the private-use MPV.

Bigger plan: ride-hailing

VinFast’s parent company, Vingroup, operates a ride-hailing service called Green and Smart Mobility. It already runs in markets like Vietnam and the Philippines, India could be next.

The Limo Green is expected to play a key role in that ecosystem. These cars could be deployed as part of a dedicated EV taxi fleet, finished in a signature colour and booked via a mobile app.

The model is straightforward. The service buys vehicles from VinFast and runs them within its own network. VinFast is still evaluating this for India, but the intent is clear.
