What to expect from the Chery Tiggo 7L?
The Tiggo 7L is a long-wheelbase version of the standard Tiggo 7 SUV. Chery sells the Tiggo 7L in China and other selected markets, such as the Middle East. It is a mid-size SUV that competes with the likes of the Hyundai Creta.
The patented images showcase a car similar to the standard model. The design is identical to the global-spec model, featuring a big honeycomb grille integrated in the front bumper, sleek LED headlights, and vertical air dams on the extreme ends.
The patented model also features flush door handles and a panoramic sunroof. We suspect that the Tiggo 7L will be introduced in India in a later stage by JSW Motors, and the homologation is being done to preserve the nameplate.
Inside, it features a unique sliding 15.6-inch infotainment screen that can be slid towards the front passenger, acting as a secondary screen. Meanwhile, the key cabin features include a 10.25-inch driver display, Level 2 ADAS, electric seats with ventilation, wireless charging, an electric tailgate, and more.
The global spec Tiggo 7L is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.6-litre petrol engine option. Both of these powertrains are turbocharged, offering 154 bhp and 197 bhp, respectively. The Tiggo 7L is exclusively a front-wheel drive model, and it comes paired with automatic gearbox only.
The expected launch price of the Tiggo 7L in India is Rs 18-20 lakh.
