What is new on the 2026 Honda CB750 Hornet?
The new CB750 Hornet has been launched at Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom), which makes it Rs 1.27 lakh more expensive than the outgoing model. The only difference with this additional price is the addition of the new E-Clutch system. It is a Honda trademark technology that has been designed to offer clutch-less gear shifts at low speeds.
The E-Clutch is not new, and it has been present on multiple big-engine bikes of Honda. It uses a set of actuators and sensors that read the throttle response and the riding conditions. Furthermore, when the rider is at a standstill or moving slowly in bumper-to-bumper traffic, the E-Clutch eliminates the need of manual clutch operation.
It automatically engages the clutch, thus giving the rider an easy riding experience. However, a manual over-ride feature has also been embedded, so that the rider can take over complete manual control whenever needed. Honda has done a lot of research on the E-Clutch, and it is a tried and tested feature.
Apart from the E-Clutch, the 2026 CB750 Hornet is completely untouched. It continues to offer the same design, same technology, and the same 755cc parallel-twin engine that offers 90.5 bhp and 75 Nm.
