Royal Enfield has announced that its limited-run batch of 100 units of the new Rough Crafts Shotgun 650 has sold out within 3 minutes. The pre-bookings of this special edition model commenced on July 15, 2026, and only 25 units of this motorcycle have been allocated for India.
What is the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts?
The Shotgun 650 X Rough Crafts special edition was first showcased at the EICMA 2025. It was later displayed in India at the Motoverse 2025. This special edition motorcycle takes its inspiration from the ‘Caliber Royale’, a special custom bike made by Rough Crafts, which was displayed at the EICMA 2025 as well.
The Caliber Royale custom bike featured the Shotgun 650 as its base, and it further had an elongated platform and radical custom parts fabricated by hand. The production-spec Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts also features the special elements, including the dual-tone Gloss Jet Black and Matt Jet Black colour combination, which is accentuated by the Gold Leaf Stripe on the body panels and the fuel tank.
Other special bits on this limited-edition bike include the individual numbering on the fuel tank, quilted leather seat, a brass badge, contrast-cut alloy wheels, bar-end mirrors, and gold front fork inner tubes. Mechanically, it continues to use the 648cc parallel-twin oil-cooled motor, which is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Royal Enfield will also provide the owners with a special limited-edition gold-on-black artwork of a Caliber Royale custom bike sketch, which is made by Winston Yeh, Founder of Rough Customs. The deliveries of the new limited-run Shotgun 650 Rough Customs are expected to commence shortly in India. As mentioned earlier, only 25 units will land in India.
Royal Enfield also announced that it received over 9,000 queries for the special-edition Shotgun 650. However, bookings were made only via the Drop Zone on the Royal Enfield mobile app or via the official website.
