KTM has updated the 390 Adventure motorcycle with a new colour option, called Ebony Black. The new colour has started reaching KTM dealerships, and it is priced at Rs 2,86,858 (ex-showroom, Pune) as per online reports.
Talking about the new colour, it is a mix of glossy black and silver/golden highlights on the side panels and the side fairing. While the engine components and the technical portions remain painted in a mixed shade of gloss and matte black, the body panels get a new black paint shade with the golden highlights.
With this new addition, the 390 Adventure is now available in three colour options: Electronic Orange, Ceramic White, and Ebony Black. The new colour has been designed for customers looking for a more subtle shade that makes it look more mature and less funky as compared with the other colour options.
With that said, there have been no other changes made to the bike. The new 390 Adventure is powered by the downsized 349cc liquid-cooled motor that produces 40.43 bhp and 33.5 Nm of power and torque. While these figures look timid in comparison with the outgoing 399cc LC4 engine, KTM claims that the downsized motor offers more tractability and more low-end power for easy riding.
In terms of the styling, the 390 Adventure is inspired by the big rally-spec ADVs of the brand. It gets a rally-tower design with a tall windscreen, an upright riding stance with a slightly committed riding posture, a lightweight chassis, and features like a coloured TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, ride modes, traction modes, cruise control, projector LED headlight, a dual-channel ABS, cornering ABS, and more.
The 390 Adventure competes with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, which is priced from Rs 3.08-3.39 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the new 390 Adventure is priced lower than it.
