Bajaj Auto Ltd has shared a teaser image of a camouflaged test mule of the upcoming 2026 Pulsar N160. The updated motorcycle will debut along with the new-generation range of Pulsar models that is set to be unveiled on August 12, 2026.
2026 Bajaj Pulsar N160: What to expect?
As visible in the teaser image, the camouflaged motorcycle shows an identical design silhouette to the existing model. The bike continues to feature the muscular design pattern along its body panels, while the rider gets the mid-set controls, offering a mix of sporty and comfortable commuting position.
Elements like the underbelly exhaust can, a sharp engine sump guard, alloy wheels, rear tyre hugger, and an upright set tail design – all look unaltered. However, a closer look reveals the new LED headlight, which seems to feature the redesigned LED daytime running lights that are now positioned on the outer edge of the headlight.
A new headlight will significantly change the overall appearance of the bike. Additionally, Bajaj will revamp the colour options and graphics, which will further update the design of the new N160.
We do not suspect that there will be any big mechanical updates on it. The new N160 is likely to continue with the existing 164.82cc air/oil-cooled engine that makes 15.68 bhp and 14.65 Nm of power and torque. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
The updated Pulsar N160 will continue to be suspended over the golden-coloured USD front forks and a monoshock rear suspension. The bike will also get disc brakes on both ends, and a dual-channel ABS is also likely to be offered on the top variant.
Last but not least, it will probably get a new digital instrument console. The new unit is likely to be a coloured LCD with Bluetooth connectivity and a redesigned graphical experience.
Bajaj will launch the updated Pulsar N160 and new-gen Pulsar models on August 12 in India.
