Triumph has silently updated the Scrambler 400 X in India with the addition of a new dual-tone colour option. The new colour is called Matte Pewter Grey with a Matte Khaki band, and it has been priced at Rs 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom).
Triumph Scrambler 400 X new colour details
The new colour option includes the Matte Pewter Grey paint shade on the fuel tank, along with a diagonal band painted in Matte Khaki colour. The front mudguard has been painted in gloss black, while the side panels feature silver and black highlights.
The bike continues to feature a tan brown seat with black tank guards and black knuckle guards. The front USD forks are painted in golden colour to match the contrasting personality of the bike.
The Scrambler 400 X features the downsized 349cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. This motor makes 36.5 bhp and 32 Nm, and it is paired with a six-speed gearbox along with a slipper clutch as standard.
The Scrambler 400 X comes with features like a semi-digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, switchable rear ABS, ride-by-wire throttle, switchable traction control modes, dual-channel ABS, and LED lights.
The Scrambler 400 X is essentially similar to the Speed 400. However, the differentiating bit includes bigger 19-inch (front) and 17-inch (rear) alloy wheels.
Additionally, the front USD forks of the Scrambler 400 X are 43 mm, which provide 150 mm of travel. This is 10 mm more than the Speed 400, thus making it more suitable for off-roading.
The new Matte Pewter Grey colour option of the Scrambler 400 X is now available across all dealerships pan-India. Customers can reserve their motorcycle by paying a token amount, while deliveries are subject to individual dealerships.
