Audi India has announced complimentary roadside assistance for customers whose cars have been affected by the heavy rains in the Delhi-NCR region. The support is available around the clock and is aimed at helping owners deal with vehicles stranded or impacted by the ongoing weather conditions.
The company says its roadside assistance service will operate 24×7 across Delhi-NCR. Audi has also put its teams on standby to respond to customer requests as quickly as possible.
What does the support cover?
Audi’s complimentary roadside assistance package covers more than just towing. Customers can request on-site repairs, while the company will also provide fuel delivery and spare keys where required. If the vehicle cannot be driven safely, Audi will assist with its transportation as well.
The support also includes custody, storage and safekeeping of the vehicle. Audi says travel or accommodation facilities are also part of the roadside assistance coverage, depending on the circumstances.
For customers who need help, Audi has provided two roadside assistance numbers: 1800 103 6800 and 1800 209 6800. Owners can also contact their nearest Audi dealership for further information.
Support could extend to other cities
Audi India says its immediate focus is Delhi-NCR, where the company has introduced the complimentary assistance programme following the incessant rains. However, the company is also monitoring the situation in other cities and says it will extend support if required.
The move comes as several parts of Delhi-NCR continue to deal with the effects of heavy rainfall. For Audi owners caught in the middle of it, having access to round-the-clock assistance could make the difference between a stranded car and a manageable situation.
Audi has not announced an end date for the complimentary support in its communication. The assistance is currently available across the Delhi-NCR region on a 24×7 basis.
