BMW cars to become pricier soon: Here’s why
The upcoming price revision of BMW models will be implemented from July 1. The brand said that it will hike the ex-showroom prices by up to 2 percent. The reason cited for the price revision is the consistently increasing input costs and the depreciation of the Indian rupee in the foreign exchange market.
Therefore, the brand would not be able to absorb the losses, and hence, a price correction is underway. With that said, BMW also announced that it will revise the sticker price of its sub-brand MINI from the same date. MINI cars will also undergo a maximum hike of up to 2 percent.
Meanwhile, BMW is working on the next-gen X7 and the new 7 Series. Both of these models have been showcased to the dealers in China. We expect that the new-gen X7 and the new-gen 7 Series will debut in India next year.
